1.How much does a custom website design cost?
Unfortunately its very difficult to list a specific price for a custom website design. Each website is unique with different elements, for the purpose of their business or hobby. Pricing has to be considered very carefully.
Think of purchasing a website like you would purchase produce by the pound . A bag off 5 very large apples will cost more than a bag of 5 very small apples.
Depending of what you add to each page will determine the final cost.
Below is a list of pricing for a basic static site with
• Text navigation/menu bar,
• Logo, copy and images supplied upload ready.
• Email set up
This does not include elements like:
• Slide show,
• Contact forms, blogs, PayPal™ etc..

2.What is hosting and the cost?
A website and everything on the web is sitting on a server. Internet service providers offer space to "house" or "host" your website. Plans (prices, duration's, space, etc.) vary depending on the company you choose. Larsen Graphic Design uses 1 and 1.com web hosting. Pricing range from:
• $3.99/month for a very small website.
• $9.99/month for a starter business
• $12.99/ month for small - medium business

3.What is a url or domain name and do I need one?
A URL or domain name is www.yourwebsitename.com of choice and YES, you need one! A URL is an abbreviation of Uniform Resource Locator, the global address of documents and other resources on the World Wide Web. In other words your address to your website.
How do I get a URL? At Larsen Graphic Design we will do that for you! No worries, we will research the URL name/names you are interested in, let you know if they are available and register it in your name.
4.What is the cost of a url or domain name?
A URL or domain name is relatively inexpensive! The cost is about $7 - $9 a year and cheaper if you purchase it for 5 or more years! A domain name/url will expire and need to be renewed depending on how long you purchase it for.
5.Can I get an email using myname@mywebsite.com? Is that an extra charge?
Yes you can! You can have several emails@yourwebsite .com! LGD will set that up for you free of charge and route them to the email service you are currently using.
