OK, but first things first...

Planning is Key and Cost Efficient!

It's very important to plan out your website before the designer starts to design.
Think about your:

• Navigation - How many pages? Each link that takes you elsewhere on the
........site is considered a page.

• Colors & Layout - What are your color choices? Do you want horizontal.or
........verticle navigation?

• Copy - What do you want to say on each page?

• Pictures/Video - How many? Do you want a slide show or video?

• Forms - Do you want a contact form? What needs to be on the form?

• Links - Do you need links to other sites?

• PayPal / Shopping Cart- Do you plan on selling anything?

These are just some of the important things you need to consider.
VERY IMPORTANT:

Every time you change your web design plan it can cost you added expenses. Most web designers charge an hourly rate for design changes made after certain phases in building your site are reached.

Time is Money!

The more information you can offer the web designer at the beginning the quicker your job will get done.

Fill out this worksheet the best you can. This is a .pdf form that can be filled in on your computer if you have Acrobat Reader or Preview. Or you can print it out and fill it in by hand. This will help you answer many of the planning questions along with organizing your information!

Lastly.....

Estimate, Deposit & Contract

Once we have worked out what you will need, I will send you an estimate for the job. If you agree, I will send a small contract that you will need to sign and send back to me with a 50% deposit. In most cases the balance is due at completetion, unless the job is very large, payment increments may be required.
